Biography

Dr. Jiayi Hong is an assistant professor of computer science, specializing in the fields of visualization, human-AI teaming and human-computer interaction. Her work lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the humanities, with the aim of designing interactive systems that foster effective and ethical collaboration between humans and intelligent machines. Through an interdisciplinary approach, she explores how to make AI systems more transparent, interpretable and useful in complex contexts. Her research has been published in leading conferences such as CHI, TVCG and IJHCS, and has contributed to enriching our understanding of the dynamics of interaction between human users and intelligent systems.
